Digital Delivery Policy
CalcyBill™ is a Windows application delivered entirely by download. There is no physical product, no courier, and nothing to ship — this page covers the two things that do get delivered: the installer, and a licence key.
1. The installer
Available immediately, to anyone, at Download — no purchase, account, or card required to get it, because the thirty-day free trial runs on the same installer as a paid licence. It is one file, about 100 MB, and installs for the current Windows user without admin rights or a server. Its SHA-256 checksum is published on the same page and at Updates so you can verify what you downloaded matches what we actually released.
2. What it needs
Windows 10 or 11, about 4 GB of memory free, and any printer if you intend to print bills. No internet connection is needed to install it or to bill on it afterwards.
3. The licence key
A licence key is requested at Request a licence and, once payment is confirmed, is checked and cut by a person against the business name given on the request — it is not issued by an automated system the moment a payment lands. We aim to have a key in your inbox within one business day of payment being confirmed. If a request is unusually complex (a Chain plan across several branches, for instance) it can take a little longer, and we say so when it does.
The key arrives by email, as text you paste into the software once — there is nothing further to install for it, and no separate download.
4. If delivery is late or a key does not work
Write to us with the shop name and the email the request was made from, and we will look into it directly rather than through a queue:

5. Updates after delivery
Every later installer at Download works with a licence key already issued — a shop is never delivered a new key just to move to a newer build. See Updates for what has shipped and when.
6. No shipping charges
Because nothing physical is ever sent, no delivery or shipping charge applies to any plan.
